SERVICE MANUAL CORRECTION

CONDITION:

The DTC table found on page 5E2-14 and the system diagram illustrated on page 5E2-25 of the 2001 JA627 (XL-7) Service Manual list ABS trouble codes not supported on vehicles designated for the U.S. market.

CAUSE:

Production changes were made after the Service Manual went to print.

CORRECTION:

Make the the following revisions to the Service Manual letting it indicate that the two DTC's (C1051 and C1052) dedicated for the right rear inlet and outlet solenoids have been deleted and that the two DTC's (C1055 and C1056) dedicated for the left rear inlet and outlet solenoids are now designated as rear inlet and outlet.

CORRECTION PROCEDURE

1. Open the 2001 JA627 Service Manual (P/N 99500-52D00-33E) to page 5E2-14 where the ABS DTC Table is located.





2. Using a dark pen or permanent type marker correct this page as shown in the illustration on the top portion as shown.

3. Next turn to page 5E2-25.

4. Again using a dark pen or permanent type marker correct page 5E2-25 as shown in the bottom portion as shown.
