Rear Door Glass Removal and Installation

Rear Door Glass Components:

Removal
1. Remove inside handle bezel.
2. Remove door inside pull handle case.
3. Remove window regulator handle (2).
For its removal, pull off snap by using a cloth (1) as shown.







4. Remove inner garnish (1).
5. Remove door trim (2).







6. Remove door inside pull handle case bracket (1).
7. Remove door sealing cover (2).







8. Remove outer garnish (1).
9. Remove rear door center pillar garnish (2).

CAUTION:
- When removing center pillar garnish, slide it down first.
- Attempting removal without doing so will cause claws on the back of center pillar.







10. Lower window fully, then remove rear sash mounting screw (2).







11. Remove glass fitting screws (2). Then, take out door glass (1) together with bottom channel (3).







12. Detach glass from bottom channel.

Installation
Reverse removal sequence to install door glass and/or partition glass.
However, be careful of the following points.

1. When installing glass to bottom channel (1), coat channel with soap water and tap it with a plastic hammer. Glass-fitted position of bottom channel is as shown.

Dimension
"a": 241 - 245 mm (9.49 - 9.65 in.)







2. Securely seal door sealing cover (1) with adhesive.







3. Install door window regulator handle so that it has a 45° angle when glass is fully closed, as illustrated.
