1. Raise front of vehicle and support with jackstands positioned at sub-frame.
2. Remove bolts securing lower ball joint to steering knuckle, then separate lower arm from steering knuckle, Fig. 8.
3. Remove stabilizer bar end nut, retainer and cushion.
4. Remove lower suspension arm retaining bolt and nut, then disconnect lower arm from stabilizer bar. When removing suspension arm from stabilizer bar, use care not to lose caster adjusting spacer.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque lower arm to ball joint nut to 67 ft. lbs., the lower arm to steering knuckle attaching nuts to 83 ft. lbs., then lower vehicle to ground. Bounce vehicle several times to stabilize suspension, then while vehicle weight is on suspension, torque the stabilizer bar to lower arm attaching nut to 86 ft. lbs. and the lower arm to body attaching bolt to 83 ft. lbs.
