Fig. 15 ATC System Test Preparations.:

1. Disconnect short circuit connector, then connect a suitable jumper wire between terminals 2 and 3 to facilitate test procedures, Fig. 15.
2. Place temperature control at 77 deg. F, then start and idle engine.
3. Place blower motor switch in "Auto" position, then verify lower edge of guide plate on servo motor is positioned at "O" mark, between "R" and "W" lines on servo motor shaft. If edge is not positioned as described, adjust by changing terminal position in A/C wire harness. Normally, the RY and YR terminals are connected.

4. If adjusting terminal is over "R" area, Fig. 16, connect adjusting terminal to "YR" and "RG" terminal. If scale is positioned over "W" area, Fig. 17, connect adjusting terminal to "YR" and "YG" terminal.
5. Remove jumper.
6. Reconnect short circuit connector, then install glove box and undercovers.
