Data Link Connector: Testing and Inspection
TE1, TE2 TERMINALS CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDUREHINTS:
- If terminals TE1 and TE2 are simultaneously connected with terminal E1, diagnostic trouble code will not be output and the test mode is not activated.
- If the malfunction indicator lamp blinks even though terminal TE1 is not connected with terminal E1, the likely cause is an open or short in the wire harness, or a malfunction inside the ECM.
