Drive Belt: Service and Repair

REMOVAL




REMOVE DRIVE BELT
a. Loosen the pivot bolt and adjusting look bolt.
Torque:
5S-FE:
Pivot bolt: 52 Nm (530 kg.cm, 38 ft.lb)
Adjusting lock bolt: 18 Nm (185 kg.cm, 13 ft.lb)
1 MZ-FE:
Pivot bolt: 56 Nm (570 kg.cm, 41 ft.lb)
Adjusting lock bolt: 18 Nm (185 kg.cm, 13 ft.lb)

b. Loosen the drive belt tension by adjusting bolt and remove the drive belt.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
