Ignition Coil Wire: Testing and Inspection

1. Check coil wire for signs of arcing or burning.
2. Check resistance using a suitable ohmmeter. Correct resistance should be:

5.6 ± 1 k Ohm per meter

3. If resistance is incorrect or coil wire insulation shows any signs of damage, replace coil wire.
