NEW OPTIONAL SPECIAL TOOLS
A new type of frost plug has been introduced on certain production models from 1991-on.
A new tool has been developed to facilitate removal of the plug for replacement or installation of an engine block heater.
Tightening torque:
Tighten expander to 10-25 Nm. Under no circumstances should torque exceed 40 Nm, otherwise tool may be damaged.

The dimensions stated in the table above (34-37 mm and 38-42 mm) are plug outside diameters i.e. the corresponding hole diameters in the block.
