Leak Detection Valve: Service and Repair

Removing Fender Liner
- Remove left front wheel.
- Remove fender liner fixed with 3 plastic nuts and 9 rivets. Use a drill to remove the rivets.

Removing EVAP Canister Shut-off Valve
- Disconnect EVAP canister shut-off valve connector.
- Remove valve from its mounting on the bodywork.
- Remove the hose from the valve.





Installing EVAP Canister Shut-off Valve
- Connect hose to EVAP canister shut-off valve. Use a new clamp.

NOTE: It is important to use the correct clamp to avoid fuel leakage at the joint.

- Install valve on mounting in bodywork.
- Connect valve connector.

Installing Fender Liner
- Install fender liner, use new rivets.
- Reinstall left front wheel.
