Seat Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Move the front seat (1 or 2) to the full rearward position.
If the vehicle is equipped with a six-way power seat, move the seat to the full rearward and up position in order to gain access to the adjuster-to-floor pan attaching bolts.
2. Remove the forward front seat anchor bolts (5).
3. Move the seat to the full-forward position.
4. Remove the rearward front seat rear anchor bolts (3).
5. Disconnect the electrical connector (4) on the six-way power seat.
6. Remove the center belt (6) on the AM6 left front seat. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Center Front 7.
Remove the front seat from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the seat in the vehicle.
2. Install the center seat belt (6) on the AM6 drivers seat. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Center Front
3. Connect the electrical connector (4) on the six-way power seat.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
4. Install the rearward front seat anchor bolts (3).
Tighten the rearward front seat anchor bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
5. Place the seat to the full-rearward position.
6. Install the forward front seat anchor bolts (5).
Tighten the forward front seat anchor bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
7. Return the front seat to its original position.
