Converter Housing Installation





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice Fastener Notice.

1. Install the line pressure measurement plug.

Tighten the line pressure measurement plug to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).




2. Install the baffle plate bolts and baffle plate.

Tighten the baffle plate bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).




3. Install the oil filter bolt and oil filter.

Tighten the oil filter bolt to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

4. Install the paper gasket
5. Install the metal gasket.




6. Install the torque converter housing.
7. Install the torque converter housing bolts.

* Hand tighten the bolts in the following order: 7, 20, 12, 23, 16, 4.

Tighten the bolts to 15 Nm (11 lb in).

* Hand tighten the remaining bolts in the following order: 15, 3, 14, 5, 13, 22, 11, 21, 10, 9, 19, 8, 18, 17, 6, 1, 2
* Finally tighten all the bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 23 Nm (17 lb ft).
