Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement (2.5L DOHC)

Tools Required

J 28467-B (DW117) Universal Engine Support Fixture

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the air filter housing.

2. Install the J 28467-B (1).





3. Remove the four transaxle mounting nuts.

4. Remove the bolt and nut from the transaxle mounting bracket cage.

Installation Procedure





Notice:
Refer to Fastener Notice Fastener Notice.

1. Install the left four transaxle mounting bracket bolts.

Tighten the left transaxle mounting bracket bolts to 40 Nm (30 lb ft).

2. Install the bolt and nut to the left transaxle mounting bracket cage.

Tighten the bolt and nut to 65 Nm (48 lb ft).





3. Remove the J 28467-B (1).

4. Install the air filter housing.
