Front Seat Adjuster Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement (Seat Replacement) .
2. Remove the seat cushion. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Replacement (Front Seat Cushion Replacement) .




3. Remove the seat adjuster bolts (1).




4. Remove the adjuster (2) from the seat.



Installation Procedure


Important: When you install the manual seat adjusters, ensure that the right and left seat adjuster sliding mechanism is in the same position as when you attach the adjuster to the seat bottom frame.


After you install the manual seat adjusters to the seat frame, inspect the adjusters for correct operation.






1. Install the adjuster (2) to the seat.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the seat adjuster bolts (1).

Tighten the seat adjuster bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

3. Install the seat cushion. Refer toFront Seat Cushion Replacement (Front Seat Cushion Replacement) .
4. Install the seat. Refer to Seat Replacement (Seat Replacement) .
